ItaliaStephanie Italia Ricci born October 29, 1986 , is a Canadian-American[3] actress. She is best known for her role as April Carver on the ABC Family TV series Chasing Life in 2014-2015. In 2016, she also played the role of Emily Rhodes, White House Chief of Staff as well as Special Advisor in the drama show Designated Survivor. Ricci started playing in American productions in minor roles in House, House and Greek in 2009. The same year, she also was a regular character in the role of Sasha in the comedy series Secret Girlfriend on Comedy Central. In 2010, she was a co-star in the Cartoon Network live-action series Unnatural History as Maggie Winnock. She was also in the Clean & Clear commercial. She was in Valediction the short film she created in 2011. Ricci had a small role in Joseph Gordon-Levitt's debut directorial debut film Don Jon in 2013.
